Frequently asked questions
How much ice does the KM-40C-HC make per day? It produces approximately 41 kg of crescent ice per 24 hours at 21°C air / 15°C water temperatures, and around 33 kg per 24 hours in warmer 32°C conditions.
How much ice can it store? The integrated storage bin holds approximately 16 kg of ice.
Is it air-cooled or water-cooled? The KM-40C-HC is air-cooled, drawing air through a front slide-in filter, so it does not require a separate water-cooling connection.
What refrigerant does it use? It uses R290, a natural hydrocarbon refrigerant, with a 68 g charge.
What power supply does it need? It runs on a single-phase 220-240V 50Hz supply via a standard 10A plug, drawing approximately 209 W.
