Description
The FryMAX RC300E is a single-vat natural gas tube fryer built to turn out high volumes of crisp fish, chips and other deep-fried menu items in restaurants, takeaways and pubs. It runs an 18 L oil capacity in a 23 L tank, fired by a 90 MJ/h multi-jet tube burner system that delivers a 25 kg/hr production rate across a 120°C to 200°C range. An all-stainless cabinet and a tube-burner cold zone that drops food particles below the flame extend oil life and keep the unit easy to clean between services.
Why operators choose the RC300E
-
90 MJ/h multi-jet tube burner system — heats the oil fast and recovers quickly between baskets so chips stay crisp during peak rushes.
-
18 L oil capacity in a 23 L tank — sized for a 25 kg/hr production rate without burning through oil between top-ups.
-
Tube-burner cold zone — food particles fall below the burner tubes instead of carbonising in the cook zone, extending oil life and keeping flavour clean.
-
All-stainless front, door, tank and trim — wipes down quickly and stands up to daily commercial use.
-
Flame-failure protection and standby pilot — fitted as standard for safer unattended operation and easier start-up.
-
32 mm ball-type full-port drain valve — resists clogging from sediment so oil changes stay quick and clean.
-
Front-access componentry — burners, controls and valves can be reached and replaced from the front, cutting service time on-site.
-
Two baskets and a stainless lid supplied — ready to fry from day one, with a cover for overnight oil protection.

Venue suitability
The RC300E suits restaurants, takeaways, fish & chip shops, pubs and clubs that need dependable high-output single-vat frying off a natural gas line. The 25 kg/hr throughput and fast recovery handle steady lunch and dinner volumes from one tank, while the cold-zone tube burner keeps oil cleaner across long services. For dual-product menus where one oil pool needs to stay clean (for example, fish in one tank and chips in another), step up to a twin-vat model instead.

Installation & delivery
The RC300E connects to natural gas via a 1/2" inlet and must be installed and certified by a licensed gas fitter; allow clearance for the built-in flue deflector and use the adjustable legs to level on uneven flooring. Dispatched Australia-wide from our Sydney HQ and partner warehouses in Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth. Backed by FryMAX’s 48-month cover (2 yr parts & labour plus a further 2 yr parts only when the product is registered within 14 days of invoice).
Frequently asked questions
What is the oil capacity of the FryMAX RC300E?
The tank holds 23 L with an 18 L working oil capacity, sized to support a 25 kg/hr production rate without frequent top-ups.
Is the RC300E natural gas or LPG?
This model is natural gas (NG) only, with a 1/2" gas inlet. FryMAX sells a separate LPG variant (RC300ELPG) for venues without a mains gas connection.
How many baskets and accessories are included?
Two frying baskets and a stainless steel lid are supplied as standard, so the unit is ready to commission without buying extras.
What temperature range does it cover?
The thermostat runs from 120°C to 200°C using reliable millivolt mechanical controls — broad enough for chips, seafood, schnitzel and most battered or crumbed menu items.
How does the tube-burner cold zone help oil life?
Food particles fall below the burner tubes into a cooler zone instead of carbonising in the cook area, slowing oil breakdown. For practical guidance on oil rotation, see our guide on how often to change deep-fryer oil.
Is the RC300E suitable for a small café?
For a low-volume café the 18 L single-vat capacity may be more fryer than needed; a bench-top fryer is usually a better fit. Our commercial deep fryer buying guide walks through sizing against expected covers per service.
What warranty does the RC300E come with?
48 months in total — 2 years parts and labour plus a further 2 years parts only when the product is registered within 14 days of invoice.
What is the installation footprint?
The fryer measures 394(W) x 759(D) x 1195(H) mm and weighs 65 kg net; allow rear clearance for the flue deflector and side clearance for safe basket handling.
